Hey Lovelies! I am so excited to share with you a fun in person and/or online event that combines worship and the creative arts…Paint & Praise Workshops!
Paint & Praise Workshop are a time to connect and create with Christian sisters in the Lord as we have fun exploring the creative arts!
God is the ultimate Creator and He has put within each of us amazing creativity and abilities to bless Him and others.
IN PERSON WORKSHOP INFO:
My in-person Paint & Praise workshop is best for up to 15 participants in order to ensure that everyone gets the attention they need.
For our in- person workshops we make sure to ensure safe social distancing standards by the state of California. Art tools and aprons are sanitized for your safety. As your instructor I will wear a face shield during my instruction time and will wear a mask if students need closer assistance.
Each in-person workshop begins with a time of live worship and is followed by a short spiritual encouragement from God’s word. We then will let the truths we learned from our time together influence our canvas art time.
The theme for our Workshop is
Are you ready to press in closer to Jesus, grow in your understanding of your identity and the uniqueness God has given you?
We sometimes get some skewed messages from our world and life experiences about our identity. It’s my hope that you can come away from our time together renewed in your mind and how you view yourself as a child of God. We are so loved and accepted by God and we need that reminder and encouragement to infuse us with hope.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
• HOW MUCH ARE IN PERSON WORKSHOPS & WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
The cost per person is $25 and this amount covers the expenses for our creative art time. Lite refreshments are provided by the host. Each person will paint on an 11×14 stretched canvas. For an additional cost of $7 you can have me prepare a custom hand lettered template for you to use with a favorite verse or quote.
As an added plus we will also have a mini time of worship , short devotional/encouragement, and prayer.
• WHERE IS THE WORKSHOP LOCATION?
In Person Workshops are currently offered in California only.
You can schedule a private workshop for your homeschool group, women’s ministry group or girls night out.
• WHAT TYPE OF ART WILL WE BE DOING?
We will be painting on and 11×14 Stretched Canvas using acrylic paints. I will be teaching some painting techniques and have templates for lettering on the canvas. Participants do not have to use the lettering templates and have the freedom to creatively express themselves on their canvas.
• CAN I ASK FOR PRAYER AT THIS WORKSHOP?
Yes, it is my heart to provide an opportunity for each woman to receive prayer.
• CAN I BRING MY CHILDREN TO THIS EVENT?
In order for participants to focus on worship, scripture and their painting time we ask that you find alternate arrangements for your children.
• I’M NOT VERY CREATIVE WILL I ENJOY THIS EVENT?
I believe you’ll have fun! Creative expression is unique for each person. You don’t have to consider yourself an artistic person to attend.
