One of my favorite things to do as a hand lettering artist is to create designs that mix different lettering styles. For me it makes the design a little more interesting and gives it some character. Here is an example of a piece that mixes styles:
I created a mixed lettering style worksheet to help you practice this style of lettering. If you’re a beginner it should be especially helpful as you try to figure out your own personal style of lettering. Practicing and exploring all the styles is a great way to fine tune your own. This freebie is a special gift from me to you when become a subscriber to my website.
One request….please don’t subscribe, get the lettering worksheet and then unsubscribe. I promise that I won’t spam you with offers. My goal is to create community and connect with my readers through offering helpful tutorials, tools and tips on hand lettering and all things creative.
For further practice I have some alphabet practice sheets that are available here on my website and also in my Etsy shop. Let me know if there are any other type of practice sheets that would be helpful and I will try to make some new ones that help you grow in your hand lettering journey.
